Cemile Gül

Cemile Gül was born in Kütahya in 1964. She finished primary, middle and high school in Kütahya. She has taught embroidery for 21 years. She founded her own gallery, “Cemile Gül Art Gallery” and runs a restaurant, “Germiyen Konağı” which serves traditional Ottoman cuisine. Gül creates her own patterns and designs using the technique of Ottoman embroidery and their motifs. Over the past 15 years she has been awarded around 40 prizes in many competitions for these works. These works are exhibited in a mansion.
