Mustafa Çapar

Mustafa Çapar was born in Bünyan Kayseri in 1964. He graduated from the Theater Department in the Faculty of Letters at Ankara University. Kayseri is famous for carpets and kilims. This generated his interest in carpets and kilims. He began research, especially on kilim products. He wove kilims and organized how to make products. Since 1980, he has designed and made special bags and accessories of kilims and leathers. He founded his own workshop and started to sell his products. In addition to it, Çapar designs and makes other Turkish handicrafts.
