Arzu Tozlu was born in Istanbul. She graduated with the highest degree from the Traditional Turkish Handicraft, Illumination Miniature art branch of Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts. During her education, she attended courses given by Asst. Prof. Dr. İnci Ayan Birol, Prof. Dr. Çiçek Derman, Prof. Uğur Derman, Prof. Dr. Muhittin Serin, Prof. Dr. Erol Eti, Asst. Prof. Dr. Gülnur Duran. After graduating, she attended the illumination courses as an assistant in the Academy of Kubbealtı, Culture and Art Foundation. She still continues her activities as a member of Group "Nokta" which was founded under the control of Ass.Doc.Dr. İnci Ayan Birol. Since 1995 she has participated in numerous group exhibitions not only in Turkey but also in Slovenia, Germany, Denmark, Pakistan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy and Qatar. She works as a lecturer at Konya Selçuk University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Traditional Turkish Handicraft branch. |
