Ali Rıza Yeni was born in Aksaray, Konya in 1971. He studied painting at Konya State Fine Art Academy and graduated from there in 1992. In the same year, he had his first exhibition at the gallery of State Fine Art Academy and Mevlana Museum. He has had 14 solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. He worked for 4 years at the workshop of Necati Ayden. After he moved to Konya and worked in a pottery atelier in Sille village for 2 years, he founded his own workshop. Yeni represented Turkey in the Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium in South Korea (2002). He currently continues his work at his atelier in Konya. His works can be seen in the governor’s office in Samsun and Amasya; Judicial courts in Batman and Alanya; Municipality of Selçuk; foundation, policlinic, hotels and holiday villages in Alanya as well as in many private collections. His works are also seen outside of Turkey in the private collections in America, Taiwan, Japan, Holland and Germany.
