Selin İşcan was born in Istanbul in 1978. She studied acting at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. Since 2002 she has performed in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal City Theater. Besides the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal City Theater, İşcan performs at other theaters and acts for many TV series such as "Gülbeyaz" (2002), "Sultan Makamı" (2003), "Aşka Sürgün" (2005), "Kaybolan Yıllar" (2006), "Keşanlı Ali Destanı" (2012) and "Kayıp Şehir" (2013). In 2010, she directed the play “Under the Rainbow” at the Rainbow (Gökkuşağı) Childrens Theatre, in which she served as a founding member. In 2012 İşcan served as a founding member at the Alternative Theatre and the Hayal Perdesi Company. She currently works as general art director at the Hayal Perdesi Company. She received "Best Actress Award" twice in the Bediha Muvahhit Awards for her role in the play “Dangerous Liaisons” (2011) and “Medea” (2004).
