Hümay Güldağ was born in Istanbul in 1970. She graduated from the Theatre Department at Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory in 1991. Since 1990 she has been performing at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre. She has acted in many plays such as "Theope," "M. Butterfly," "İkinci Nöbetçinin Sıkıntıları," "Gizli oturum," "Lüküs Hayat," "Gözlerimi Kaparım Vazifemi Yaparım," "Bir Gece Bekçisi Daha," "Eşik," "Macbeth," "Herkes Aynı Bahçede," "İhtiras Tramvayı," "Bir Yaz Gecesi Rüyası," "Bayazıt," "Çıkmaz Sokak" and "Vişne bahçesi." Güldağ has directed several plays including "Piraye′ye Mektuplar" and "Söz Veriyorum." She also performs in different plays including "Büyük Miras" (İstanbul DT), "Zirvedeki Kadınlar" (Tiyatro Martı), "Oteller Kenti" (special poetry show with music) and "Ne Güzel Şey Hatırlamak Seni" (İstanbul DT). Güldağ acts in many films and TV series.
