Engin Hepileri

Engin Hepileri was born in Istanbul in 1978. He started acting in many plays in his high school years. He entered the Theater Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory in 1966. In 2005 he completed Master′s degree at his alma mater. In 1998 he performed in a musical "Anlat Şehrazar." He also acted in a play "Ölümsizler" at Theatre Fora. In the same year Hepileri joined Kent Oyuncuları. Since then he has performed in various plays at Kent Oyuncuları Theatre. Hepileri has also performed in many films and TV series.

In 2008 Hepileri started directing theater plays: he directed Israel Horowitz′s play "Kuyruk." He also teaches acting at several universities and Academy Kenter. In 2011-2012 he presented a culture and art program on TRT channel. Besides acting, Hepileri plays as a voice actor. He has received several awards including a special award in the 8th Afife Theater Awards (2004), the Best Actor award in the 15th Sadri Alışık Awards (2010) and Jury Acting Special Award in the 18th Adana Golden Ball Awards (2011).
