Payidar Tüfekçioğlu

Payidar Tüfekçioğlu was born in 1962. He graduated from the Theater Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory. He then started working at the State Theatres including the Bursa State Theatre, the Antalya State Theatre and the Istanbul State Theatre. Tüfekçioğlu retired from the Istanbul State Theatre in 2009. He has acted in several films and TV series including "Hünkarın Bir Günü" (film, 1989), Deniz Bekliyordu (film, 1996), "Ölümsüz Aşk" (TV series, 2003), "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu" (TV series and film, 2010) and "Gitme Baba" (film, 2013). Tüfekçioğlu has received several awards such as the "Best Actor" award in the Avni Dilligil Awards (2000) and the "Best Actor" award in the Afife Theatre Awards (2007).
