İlham Yazar

İlham Yazar was born in Ankara in 1968. He entered the Ankara State Conservatory in 1984 and graduated in 1988. In the same year, he started working as an actor at the Diyarbakır State Theatre. As a director, Yazar has directed many plays such as "Guguk Kuşu," "Kurnaz Aşıklar" (2015), "Antabus" (2015), "Mojo," Marquis De Sade′s "Quills" (2014), "Yastık Adam" (2011), "Shakespeare Zorda," "Tom, Dick ve Harry," and "Bir Anarşistin Kaza Sonucu Ölümü." In 2016 he received "The Most Successful Director of the Year" award in the 20th Yapı Kredi Afife Jale Theatre Awards. Yazar currently continues his work in the Ankara State Theatre.
