Ibrahim Selim was born in Istanbul in 1979. He graduated from the Theatre Department at the Ankara State Conservatory of Hacettepe University. Besides performing in numerous plays including "Bunu Ben de Yaparım!" (2016), "Tamamen Doluyuz" (2015), "Dövüş Gecesi" (2014), 1Makas Oyunları 2" (2014), "Makas Oyunları 1" (2013), "Sarı Ay" (2012), and "Malafa" (2010), Selim has acted in many films such as "Rüya"(2015), "Kusursuzlar" (2013), "Sis ve Gece" (2007), "Sınav" (2006), and "Canavarlar Sofrası" (2011). He has also acted in various TV series including "Poyraz Karayel" (2015), "Ulan İstanbul" (2014), "Fatih" (2012-2013), "Aynadaki Düşman" (2009), "Zoraki Koca" (2007), "Ters Yüz" (2007) and "Ne seninle ne sensiz" (2005). Selim was nominated to the Golden Orange Award for the Best Actor. In 2016, he received "The Most Successful Actor of the Year" award in the 20th Afife Jale Theatre Awards. Selim currently continues his work in Istanbul.
