Esin Alpoğan Harvey was born in Ankara in 1979. She grew up in Switzerland, Holland, Greece and Turkey before moving to the United States for her university education. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with degrees in Theatre and Communication before training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. In 1999, she went to London Goldsmiths College as an exchange student for a year. In 2001, she entered London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and graduated in 2004. Currently, Harvey lives and works in London as a professional actress.
