Emre Kınay

Emre Kınay was born in Istanbul in 1970. He studied at the Theater Department of Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory in 1990-1995. In 1992 he started working as an actor at the Bakırköy Municipality Theatre. Kınay has also performed in many plays of famous theatres such as the Dostlar Theatre. He has directed many plays of the Duru Theatre, which he founded in 2005. Since 1997, Kınay has acted in many films and TV series. He has received several awards including the "Best Actor Award" in the 23rd Istanbul Film Festival (2004) and the "Most Successful Actor of the Year" in the Afife Theater Awards (2006). Kınay currently lives and works in Istanbul.
