Devrim Evin was born in Adıyaman in 1978. He graduated from the Performance Art Department in the Ankara State Conservatory at Hacettepe University in 2001. He started performing in the Eskişehir City Theatre in 2003, and transferred to the Adana State Theatre in 2005. Since then, he has performed in the State Theatres. Evin studied physical and voice action in Italy and Denmark with famous actors such as Mario Biagini, Eugenio Barba, and Torgeir Weithal. In 2009, Evin attended the Grotowski Year, which was organized by Wroclaw-Poland Grotowski Institute. He also took a physical and vocal action lesson within the “Quetzacoatl” project, which was conducted by Roberta Carreri in Holstebro, Denmark. In the same year, Evin took a place in the Ur-Hamlet project with Eugenio Barba, and joined the Orixa Dance 2009 with Augusto Omolu. Since 2009, Evin has continued his master’s degree at the Stage Arts and Theater Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. He has acted not only in numerous theaters, but also in a few TV series such as “Kaleiçi”, “İki Arada Aşk” and “Suç Dosyası”. In 2012, he acted the leading role of Sultan Mehmed II in the film” Fetih 1453”, which was directed by Faruk Aksoy.
