Mustafa Çetin was born in Konya in 1966. Between 1988 and 1992 he studied at Hacettepe University of Fine Art in Ankara under the supervision of honored professors, namely: M Zahit Buyukisliyen, Hasan Pekmezci, Zafer Gencaydin and Veysel Gunay. He completed his master′s degree at the same university. In 1995 he traveled to London to improve his artistic views and research modern art. He joined contemporary artists group, most of Turkish background and thereafter established the Torques art group. In 1998 he entered the University of East London for his master degree in Fine Art and graduated from this university in 2000. In 2001 he settled to Canada. Çetin has prepared art program on Turkuaz TV and has became a member of VAO (Visual Art Ontario).
