Güldiyar Tanrıdağlı studied piano with Assoc. Prof. Nurferi Onur at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She continued her study with Assist. Prof. Perim Hamidoğlu. Tanrıdağlı also worked with renowned pianists such as İdil Biret, Emmanuel Ax, Einar-Steen Nökleberg, Philippe Entremont, Olivier Gardon, Peter Lang, Rolf Plagge and George Kern. Besides piano education, Tanrıdağlı studied classical ballet, jazz dance, world dances at Beijing Dance Academy.

Tanrıdağlı won a second place in the Galleria International Piano competition. She received the first place in a piano competition on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. In 2006 she gave a master class with conductor Philippe Entremont at Mozarteum in Salzburg. Since then Tanrıdağlı has given master classes with Prof. George Kern at Mozarteum. She has continued her education on harmony with Alexander Müllenbach; music forms and analyze with Klaus Ager; Cembalo and clavichord with Wolfgang Brunner; chamber music with Wolggang Redik; film music with Ivan Pashuchin, and cello-piano works with cellist Clemens Hagen and his assistant David Eggert.
