Emine Serdaroğlu started her piano studies with Prof. Ersin Onay and continued with Fuat Turkay and Prof. Cana Gurmen. She was accepted at Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music with a music scholarship and continued her piano studies with Prof. Dr. Mark Hansen. After graduating with magna cum laude, Serdaroğlu continued her piano education at the University of Texas in Austin as the student of Prof. Dr. William Race, where she has received a master of music degree. Serdaroğlu also had the opportunity to work with pianists such as Andrey Diev, Rita Sloan, Lala Margulis, Igor Kipnis and Ratko Delorko. She has given several recitals in Turkey and abroad in the USA, Germany, Sweden and Cyprus. Along with her duo performances, she has accompanied a variety of artists and participated in chamber music ensembles. She has completed her Ph.D. in General Musicology at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Currently, Serdaroğlu teaches as an instructor at Bogazici University Fine Arts Department in Istanbul. Since 1998, she has continued activities of duet works of cello and piano with cellist Dilbağ Tokay.
