Ceren Akçalı

Ceren Akçalı studied contrabass at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. She completed her Master′s degree in Faculty of Art and Design at Yıldız Technical University. Akçalı has performed with many orchestras such as the CRR Symphony Orchestra, the Bursa Municipality Symphony Orchestra, and the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. She has also participated in national and international festivals with various orchestras, theatres and dance projects. In 2005-2011, Akçalı taught at the Atatürk Faculty of Education of Marmara University. She currently performs at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet and the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a member of the Tangoeva Ensemble and Istanbul Opera Baroque Ensemble.
