Bülent Bezdüz was born in Ankara in 1967. He graduated from the Music Department of Gazi University and started his vocal studies with the Polish Tenor, Roman Werlinski. He made his debut at the Mersin State Opera as Alfredo in the Verdi′s "La Traviata". In 1997 Bezdüz attended the European Opera Center in Manchester and made his European debut in Mozart’s "Lucio Silla", which went on tour in England, Ireland and Denmark. In 1999 he won the second prize in the Concours International de Chant de Paris during his studies in the Centre National d′Insertion Professionnelle d′Artistes Lyriques (CNIPAL) in Marseille.
Bezdüz has performed with great conductors such as Sir Colin Davis, Riccardo Chailly and with famous orchestras like Amsterdam Concertgebouw and London Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in the Aspendos International Opera Festival many times. He won three Grammy Awards with two CDs: "Les Troyens" (2001) and Verdi’s "Falstaff" (2006), which were recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Colin Davis.
