Berna Anıl

Berna Anıl was born in Istanbul in 1983. After studying International Relations and Political Science, she pursued her music study at the Musical Theater Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory Stage Arts, where she studied singing with Lynn Trepel Çağlar. Anıl also studied acting at the Istanbul Municipality City Theatre. In 2008, she went to London to pursue her master′s degree in Stage Arts, Musical Theater and Acting at Trinity Guildhall, where she studied singing, acting, and dance with Morgon Gordon, Martin Wimpress, Vernon Thampson, and Vixtoria Barbe. Anıl also studied acting with Petina Hapgood at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts for 6 months. After completing her master′s degree in 2010, she entered the Department of Performance-Classical Vocal at MIAM, Istanbul Technical University. Currently, she continues her study with Lynn Trepel Çağlar. Since 2010, Anıl has given various concerts with pianist K. Batu Ekmekçi in Turkey.
