Art Profile	:	Çağan Irmak was born in 1970 in Izmir. He graduated from the Department of Radio-TV and Film at Ege University. Despite his young age, he managed to catch the interest of many people in Turkey as a successful writer and director. Irmak is mostly famous for the TV series "Çemberimde Gül Oya" and "Asmalı Konak", and for the movies "Mustafa Hakkında Herşey", "Babam ve Oğlum" and "Issız Adam". The soundtracks of his movies are as celebrated and timeless as the movies themselves. Irmak has received many awards for his films not only in Turkey but also abroad.
