Osman Soykut (Ozman Sirgood) was born in Ankara in 1957. He is an established actor who works on Film and Television projects on both sides of the Atlantic. He attended Frankfurt International School and TED Ankara College; and graduated from the Architecture Department at Middle East Technical University. Since 1989 he has been playing many roles in films and TV series in California, where he moved in 1984. In 2001-2008, Soykut received training from Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Soykut became success as an actor in Los Angeles and acted in many productions including "Charmed," "Alias," "The Bold And The Beautiful," "The Hot Chick," and "Art School Confidential." In 2007, he came to Istanbul to play a leading role in the TV series "Iki Yabanci." He then acted in other TV series "Pars Narkoteror" and "Adanalı." In 2009, Soykut acted in the TV action series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu." In 2014, he was selected to play the role of "Ibn-i Arabi" in the historical TV series "Diriliş: Ertuğrul." Soykut currently lives and works both in Istanbul and California.
