Melisa Sözen

Melisa Sözen was born in Istanbul in 1985. She graduated from the Theatre Department at the Pera Fine Arts College. She debuted in ÇaÄŸan Irmak′s film "Bana Åžans Dile." Since then she has acted in many films including Nuri Bilge Ceylan′s "Kış Uykusu" (2014), Yavuz Turgul′s "Av mevsimi" (2010), Selim Demirdelen′s "Bıçak Sırtı" (2007), and DerviÅŸ Zaim′s "Cenneti beklerken" (2006). Sözen has also acted in many TV series such as "MuhteÅŸem Yüzyıl." In 2015 she won the "Best Actress of the Year" in the 2015 TEB Awards. Sözen currently lives and works in Istanbul.
