Mediha Didem Türemen was born in Kusadasi in 1982. After graduating from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Istanbul University Faculty in 2006, she completed her master′s degree in Cinema-TV at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She participated in many theater workshops and studied at Akademi Istanbul, Turkish State Theatres Opera and Ballet Members′ Foundation, Nazim Hikmet Foundation of Culture and Art, Gonul Ulku & Gazanfer Ozcan Theatre. In 2008, Türemen participated in an Audiovisual Financing & Commercialization seminar, which was held in Paris at the Sorbonne University.
Türemen worked as a production designer for Selim Evci′s feature film "İki Çizgi (Two Lines)," which was premiered in the 65th Venice International Film Festival Critics′ Week. She performed the leading role in the film "Rüzgarlar (Winds)," for which she also worked as art director. In 2013, Türemen had her solo photography and gravure exhibition in Istanbul. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.
