İlksen Başarır

İlksen Başarır was born in Istanbul in 1978. After finishing at Saint Benoit French High School, she graduated from the Faculty of Communication at Marmara University. In 2000, she started working as a supporting director at the İstisnai Films and Advertisement. Since 2005, she has produced many commercial films and long film projects. Başarır was granted the Antalya City Counsel Jury’s Special Award with the film “Başka Dilde Aşk” at the 46th Altın Portakal Film Festival. In 2010, Başarır received “best director award” with her film “Başka Dilde Aşk” in the 13th Berdyansk International Film Festival in Ukraine. In 2010, she will participate with the film “Atlıkarınca” in the 47th Altın Portakal Film Festival in Antalya, Turkey.
