Barış Arduç was born in Switzerland in 1987. He moved to Turkey with his family at the age of eight. He discontinued Erciyes University Sports Academy and worked as a lifeguard in Sile for 8 years. Later, he met Ayla Algan, an actress, and took an acting training class at Ekol Drama in 2007. Arduç then entered the Sadri Alışık Theatre School to study acting. In 2011 he debuted as an actor in a TV series "Küçük Hanımefendi." Since then Arduç has acted in many TV series and films. He has received many awards including the "Best Actor" in the North Cyprus Cypaparazzi the Best Awards (2015) and the "Best Comedy Drama Actor" in the 43rd Pantene Golden Butterfly Awards (2016). He is a Goodwill Ambassador for the Life Without Cancer Society of Turkey. Arduç currently continues his work in Istanbul.
