Ahmet Uğurlu was born in 1952. He graduated from the Theater Department of Ankara State Conservatory. He has acted in various plays as well as films and TV series. In 1996 Uğurlu acted in the film "Tabutta Rövaşata," which was directed by Derviş Zaim, and received four "Best Actor" awards at the Golden Orange Film Festival (1996), International Association of Theatre Ciritcism Awards (1997), the 9th Ankara Film Festival (1997) and the Selanik Film Festival (1997). He currently continues his work in Istanbul.
