Beren Saat

Beren Saat was born in Ankara in 1984. After graduating from TED Ankara College High School, she entered the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at Başkent University. She attended the competition "Türkiye′nin Yıldızları" and won the first award. In 2004 she debuted in the TV series "Aşkımızda Ölüm Var." Since then Saat has acted leading roles in many TV series and films including Aşk-ı Memnu (Forbidden Love, TV series 2008), Güz Sancısı (Pains of Autumn, 2009), Gecenin Kanatları (Wings of the Night, 2009), Fatmagül′ün Suçu Ne? (What is Fatmagül′s fault?, TV series 2010) and Benim Dünyam (My World, 2013). She has received many awards including the "Best Actress Award" in the the Golden Tulip Fine Arts Awards in 2008, the Golden Butterfly Awards in 2009 and 2010, the 11th Rotabest Awards in 2012, and the 25th International Consumer Summit in 2012. Saat currently lives and works in Istanbul.
