Tomris İncer was born in Bulgaria in 1948. She started performing at the Istanbul Municipality Theater in 1974. She acted in many films, theaters and TV dramas. In 1995, İncer received the best actress awards for the role in the film “Aylaklar” in the 9th Adana Altın Koza Film Festival. In 2003, she won the best supporting actress prize for the role in the film “Çamur” in the 15th Ankara Film Festival. In the same year, she also received the best supporting actress prize for the performance in the theater “Gönlümdeki Köşk Olmasa” in the 8th Sadri Alışık Awards. In 2015 she won the 2015 TEB honorary award in the TEB Awards and the "Best Supporting Actress of the Year" in the 19th Yapi Kredi Afife Theater Awards. She received an honorary award for the Season 2014-2015 at the International Association of Theatre Ciriticism Awards. İncer passed away in Foça in 2015.
