Oya Aydoğan was born in Erzincan in 1957. She finished her secondary education at Saint Michel French High School. She started her career as an actress in a film entitled "Kabadayılar Kralı" in 1972. In 1976 she won the first place in the 8th Cinema Artist Contest organized by Ses magazine. Aydoğan acted in various films and TV series such as "Neşeli Günler" (1978), Yüz Numaralı Adam (1978), Yedi Bela Hüsnü (1982), Kalvimdeki Acı" (1983), "Aşkım Günahımdır" (1984), Zavallılar" (1984), "Merhamet" (1986), "Kabadayılar Kıralı" (1990), "Nehirler Denize Akar" (TV series, 1992), "Fırat" (1997), "Evdeki Yabancı" (2000), "Hemşo" (2000), "Bez Bebek" (TV series, 2007), "SüpüRRR" (2009), "Sudan Sebepler" (2011), "Düşman Kardeşler" (TV series, 2012), "Aşk Nerede" (2015) and "Türk Lokumu" (2015). In 2014 she received the Best Supporting Actress Award in the 19th Sadri Alışık Awards. Aydoğan passed away in Istanbul in 2016.
