Necip Savcı
1949-2010

Necip Savcı was born in 1949 in Medet village in the district of Tavas, Denizli region. He started making terracotta works as a hobby. The shape, color and design of his works were reminiscent of ancient Anatolia. His first exhibition was held in Istanbul by KÜSAV. Savcı had other exhibitions in Ankara by the Turkish-British Cultural Institution and the Attika Art Center. He was a member of the craftsmen group in Anatolian Art Club. Savcı passed away in 2010.
