Ali Gür

Ali Gür was born in Istanbul in 1959. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He worked as an engineer and conducted directorate in the glass, energy and food sectors for 25 years. He also served as director and vice president in many countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa and West Asia. Since 2008 Gür has written novels. In 2016 he received Atilla İlhan Novel Award for his novel "Tavanarası." Gür currently continues his work in Istanbul.
