Ahmet Büke was born in Gördes, Manisa in 1970. He finished primary and middle school education in Gördes; and high school education at İzmir Atatürk High School. After studying at the Department of Geological Engineering of Middle East Technical University for a while, he transferred to the Economics Department in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Dokuz Eylül University, and graduated in 1997. His stories such as "E Edebiyat", "Adam Öykü", "Ünlem", "Patika", "İmge Öyküler", "Özgür Edebiyat", "Eşik Cini", "Notos Öykü", "Yeni Yazı", "Ğ", "Sus", and "Has", have been published in many literature magazines. He won first prize with his story “Kayıp Dua Kitabı” in the Xasiork 2002 Short Story Competition, which was organized by the Immortal Stories Publishing House. Büke published his books “İzmir Postası’nın Adamları” (2002), “Çiğdem Külahı” (2004), ”Alnı Mavide” (2006) and “Kumrunun Gördüğü” (2010).
