Merve Bayındır

Merve Bayındır was born in Istanbul in 1980. She studied Psychology and Humanities at York University in Toronto, Canada. She came back to Turkey in the summer of 2004 after completing her studies. She first started her carrier as a psychologist, and then worked with architect and her father Babur Bayındır. She was inspired by her mother’s interest in painting and art, and decided to carry her passion for design to her professional life. In 2010 Bayındır focused her design more on hats and by 2011 the brand "Merve Bayındır" introduced her name as a hat/millinery designer in the fashion world. She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
