Songül Cabacı

Songül Cabacı graduated from the Department of Fashion Design in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 2009. She then worked with fashion designer Simay Bülbül. In 2010, Cabacı set up her showroom-workshop in Galata, Beyoğlu. She participated in the Fashion Week CPI 2010. She sells her designs at Kanyon Box and Akmerkez Pop Up Store. Cabacı has also participated in many fashion festivals such as Shopping Fest, Fashion Night Out, Bebek Festival, and Galata Mode. She had her first fashion show in June 2010 as part of the Galata Mode. Since 2011 she has attended the Istanbul Fashion Week. In 2013, she opened her studio in Nişantaşı. Cabacı has also participated in various educational projects in order to share her experiences and support to young designers. In addition to her own company, she has designed for other firms. She was chosen as one of the designers for the Fashion in Cube Project. Cabacı presented her Spring Summer 2013 collection "Persona and Fall Winter 2013 - 2014" in the Istanbul Fashion Week. She attended Goldman Sachs 10000 Women certification program. Cabacı currently lives and works in Istanbul.
