Niyazi Erdoğan

Niyazi Erdoğan was born in 1978 in Turkey. After graduating from the Department of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University in 1999, he completed his Master′s degree in History of Architecture. While he was getting his master degree, Erdoğan worked for D&S Architecture Consulting, Kreatif Design Studio as an architect. He then studied at Parsos School of Design in Paris. In 2003, Erdoğan participated in the young fashion designers competition which was organized by the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Associations, and left among the finalists. After this competition, he decided to continue his career as a fashion designer. Erdoğan founded his own firm NESIGN Design Factory. In 2008 he launched his own menswear brand NIYAZI ERDOGAN. In 2009 he became a partner for "Eroni" company and started designing for various fashion brands in the world. He has also designed for men′s shoes. As a multi talent designer, Erdoğan has participated in several workshops such as CWE Europe Architecture Students Meeting (Finland), Turkish Philips Lighting Organization (New York), and some other competitions including CWE Mathildedal Renovation Project (Finland-First Price) and Ghidini Handle for 3th Millennium (Italy). He presented his 2014 summer collection in the Pitti Uomo Fair. Erdoğan currently runs his firm and consults many brands.
