Tuğçe Tuna has been working as a choreographer and performer. She established the RemDance Project Company in 2001 in Istanbul. The company is open to all disciplines of art and production, ways of relevant presentations, site-specific works, designed stages and all kinds of "body-space-idea" approaches for the implementation of these projects. RemDance Studio works with Istanbul Performing Arts Development Association.

Tuna completed her doctorate in the Department of Performing Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 2003 with her doctoral thesis “Relationship of Body and Space”. She has taught dance composition, improvisation, repertoire and contemporary technique at her alma mater since 1996. In addition, she has also served as a guest lecturer in the International Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance since 2003. Among her projects are: “Dance with Different Bodies”, Istanbul (2001-2003); Theatre Festival Stuttgart; “Solitude” 7th International Solo Dance; “Vertigo / O.4” International Istanbul Theatre Festival 2004; “I saw in my dream”, Turkish French Modern Dance Festival (2004); “Curve” Aga Turkish Bath, Istanbul (2005); “Phronemophobia” (2006); “This Duet Called Like This” (2007); “Transform Space & Transform Your Self” (2008); “Tuzla…Buz../ “Chip Off” (2008-2009); “Echo” (2008-2009); “Machin.Body” (2008-2009); and “Echo.skip” (2009). As of today, Tuna researches into the relationship of body between brain and gravity in Istanbul.
