Yıldız Güventürk

Yıldız Güventürk was born in Izmir in 1992. She took ballet classes from Katya Beresit in 1994-2004. Since 2008 Güventürk has been performing modern and contemporary dance in Istanbul and studying dance with Associate Professor Ayrin Ersöz at the Dance Department of Yıldız Technical University. Güventürk has also studied dance with international instructors such as Joe Alegado, Risa Steinberg, Marta Coronado, and Inaki Azpillaga. Güventürk has participated in various international festivals including ImpulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival, Urla Art Days, and the Young Choreographers Event. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.
