Türkan Karaali

Türkan Karaali was born in Erzurum in 1967. She graduated from the Ceramic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1993. In the same year, she won a special prize in the Izmir Wall Hanging Plates competition,and received third prize in the 54th State Painting and Sculpture Competition. In 1995, Karaali founded her workshop in Istanbul. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey. Currently, Karaali continues her works and teaches at her workshop.
