Mehmet Tarakçı

Mehmet Tarakçı was born in Rize, the district of İyidere in 1958. He makes works in the marquetry technique, which is his family’s business. He is the forth generation to have continued to make marquetry with his family in Istanbul. Tarakçı designs and makes furniture and wooden accessories according to today’s trend and needs.
