Gülay Alaçam

Gülay Alaçam is an architect as well as a successful city-planner. She works as a counselor for private companies on technical fields. She is a member of many technical, social and cultural societies and she takes an active part in several of them. After completing the core and advanced courses on designing jewelry and silver design at the Ankara Olgunlaşma Institute, she started to create her own original designs. In her designs, Alaçam combines the styles of antic art objects with the ones of traditional Anatolian jewelry. She exhibited her creations in the art galleries of Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council (Ankara), Bodrum Municipality and Turkish-British Association (Ankara), Çağdaş Art, ATO Art and Ankara Anatolian Civilizations Museum.
