Erol Kalkan

Erol Kalkan was born in Istanbul in 1968. In 1992, he started working as a head of jewelry production at Atasay in the Grand Bazaar. Over the past 7 years, he has taught the craft of jewelry at the Türk Kültürüne Hizmet Foundation in the Caferağa Medresesi. Kalkan also served as a teacher in a project, which was supported by the European Union. Currently, he continues to make silver jewelry as an independent artist.
