Prof. Dr. Güven Arsebük

Prof. Dr. Güven Arsebük was born in Istanbul in 1936. He is an archaeologist and retired Professor at the Prehistoric Department of Istanbul University. Prof Arsebük specializes in Prehistoric archaeology, especially the Paleolithic era. He conducted excavations including Yarımburgaz Cave. Prof. Dr. Arsebük has published many books including Tarihiöncesi Döneminden Bazı Yansımalar (Istanbul, 2012) and Uzak Geçmişimize Dair Okumalar Bir Derleme (Istanbul, 2012). Prof. Arsebük is a member of the American Research Institute, the Turkish Institute of Archaeology, and the German Archaeology Institute.
